A High Court in Abuja today 8th of November 2022, convicted the chairman of the EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa for contempt of court in relation to his agency’s failure to comply with an earlier order.
In a ruling issued today morning by Justice Chizoba Oji, held that Bawa be remanded in Prison.
Part of Oji rulling read:
“Having continued wilfully in disobedience to the order of this court, he should be committed to prison at Kuje Correctional Centre for his disobedience.”
