Recall that two policemen were dismissed last month in Osun State, after they were found guilty of brutalizing a lady in viral video.
The lady name in the viral video is Tola Azeez, in her tweet, she said that she was brutalized right in the front of her compound by the policemen.
Tola Azeez after the dismissal of the policemen involved, took to her Twitter handle to thank one of the Nigerian popular musician, Ruggedman who was the first to advocate justiy for her.
She said “May I use this medium to appreciate @RuggedyBaba for his advocacy against police brutality and pro activity most especially in my case. What he reported was a firsthand account given by an eye witness. Of course there had been events preceding which led me to be at that venue.”
The lady while commending the person who record the video, said she don’t even know who did the record, but she will love to know who did the great Job.
She said “I will also like to express my appreciation to the person who shot the viral video. That person is the hero behind it all. I don’t know that person but I will really love to know who the person is.”
In her conclusion, she thank friends and Nigerians for their support, by making sure that justice is served.
She said “I appreciate friends and families and the whole of Nigerian citizens on this cyberspace who have in one way or the other condemned this act of brutality against me and others involved and also who had taken steps to ensure justice is served.”
