Anambra immunised 5.5million residents against yellow fever

The state commissioner for health Dr vicent Okpala,while speaking on wednesday during the budget defence of the ministry before the state house committed on health in Awka said that the Ambers state government vaccinated about 5.5million residents against yellow fever during the 10-day campaign against the disease in the state.

Speaking further ,he said that the vaccination began on october 30 and took place in 19 local government area of the state.except those areas taken by flood.

He said the target is to vaccinate six million residents before the end of the exercise.
