Procedure for national open university online application

On this post, we are going to teach you step by step on how to apply for national open university programme.

Before applying for any programme at national open university of Nigeria, you must meet all the requirements that they required before admission can be issued to you.

Each of the requirement depends on the programme you are applying for.

But in a general perspective, their requirement is inline with a guideline of national university commission (NUC) for admission into any tertiary institution in the country.

So without much wasting time let’s begin.

Step 1

with any of the browser, google chrome, opera or Mozilla, type in the following url www.nouonline.net click search.

It will take you to national open university portal page as shown below

Step 2

click on apply for admission as you can see on the pictures above, after clicking on the apply for admission, the list of further instruction will open such as,

The list of noun study centre

The list of the available programme

and many more, as shown below.

Step 3

from the available list after clicking on apply for admission, on the dropdown list, you can see

Apple for undergraduate programme

Apple for post graduate programme

Apple for a PhD programme

Then click on the programme that you want to apply for.

for example

I want to apply for undergraduate program then I click on the apply for undergraduate.

Then it will take me to a page shown below

Step 4

Then you know click on the faculty that you want to apply for, on the list of the available faculty shown in the above picture.

For example

I want to apply for the faculty of science, then I click on the faculty of science shows in the above page, it will take you to the next page shows below, which is the application form.

Step 5

then fill the form which is made available above.

After you have successfully fill the form, with your original information, you can now on click apply.

Please do remember to give your original information because that is what you use till you graduate from the university.

Providing false information can lead them not to give you admission or to withheld the admission when they discover that the information you provided is false.

Step 6 after you have successfully fill the form then click apply.

From there you generate the remita number which you will take to bank to pay for the form, and also print out your form that you will take to school for further action.

But for now the admission is not available, we will keep you informed when the admission is available.

Also remember that the whole process of the application is online.

after which when you have successfully printed your form, and you have generated your remita number.

you take the remita number with the amount of money you have to pay for the form to any nearest bank to you and pay the money.

from there you now take your remita print out receipt, with the receipt issued to you from the bank to your study centre which you choose for further process.
