INSIDE KOGI: OKEHI WOMEN IN SOLIDARITY MARCH FOR GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO

It was behold a sight none can afford to miss as the Eika District Women from Obangede/Uhuodo, Okaito/Usungwe, Uboro/Omavi/Ohuepe and Eika Ohizenyi Wards came out in their numbers to demonstrate their unflinching support to the Executive of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Administrator of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare and the New Direction Agenda.

The Solidarity March which was attended by both young and old from Eika District has the Palace of HRH, the Adeika of Eika was the first point of call. HRH the Ohi of Eika, the Ohireba of Eika and of course the oldest woman in Eika District was also visited during the solidarity match.

The Eika Women traversed the length and breadth of Eika axis and finally ended the all important event at Obangede, the Local Government Headquarter. The message was simple and it was communicated via chanting songs of peace, unity and progress of Kogi State. The Women insisted that Gov. Yahaya Bello administration is a pride to the people of Ebiraland and cannot be traded for anything, therefore, implore all and sundry to give the unalloyed support.

The Solidarity match for Gov. Yahaya Bello and Hon. AbdulRaheem Ohiare was also an avenue for the women folk to debunked the mischievous allegations in some quarters about Ihima crisis while for a peaceful and successful elections.

Earlier in their separate speeches, the Traditional Rulers, the oldest woman in Eika (Inya Obaji), and other custodians of traditional institutions in Eika district thanked the women for their outstanding show of support to the government of Alh. Yahaya Bello and prayed for the success of Governor Bello and his New Direction Administration.
