Many killed in Kaduna State as presidential election collation is on going

Anther set of people have been killed by gunmen in Kajuru Local government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.

The attack is said to have take place bearly two week when the same incident happen in the area that claim over 130 lives.

Confirming the incident, a statement issue by Kaduna state government spokesman Mr. Samuel Aruwan said is true the incident take place, and it take place in the same place where over 130 is said to have been killed on 15 of February 2019.

Here is the statement issued by Kaduna state spokesman : “The Kaduna State Government has today received the sad news of renewed attacks in Kajuru and Kachia local government areas. The government condemns this recourse to violence and calls on all communities to support the efforts to restore calm in the area.

“Today, the Kaduna State Government was briefed by security agencies of renewed attacks in Kajuru local government area, and in parts of neighbouring Kachia LGA. The Kaduna State Government has been assured that the security agencies are working assiduously to contain the situation.

“The Government is saddened by these attacks, condemns the perpetrators and urges all residents of the area to support the security agencies in their efforts to protect communities.”

But the Kaduna state spokesman, did not reveal the numbers of peoples killed upon releasing the statement.
