Ogate and Ohizi is an Egbura communities in Nassarawa.
According to the information sent to us by one of the Ogate community youth, he said the communities is under attacked right now by some Bassa kwomu Militia. He said the Bassa militias group come into the two village at about 3am on the 26 of February 2019, when many peoples are sleeping, and started attacking the communities.
Upon investigating early these morning at about 5am on the said attack, a phone call put through to Toto town in Nassarawa state confirmed that yes there was an attack by Bassa kwomu militia, but they were unable to gain entrance into Ogate, and Ohizi communities.
Furthermore, the militia were shooting far away from the communities, he said.
