North Korean Medical Doctor kidnapped in Zamfara

North Korean medical doctor, Mr. Jeng Sunail, Woking in the General Hospital of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The information was made available by Zamfara State Police Command spokesman DSP Shehu Mohammed.

He said, “the disappearance of Sunail was reported at the Tsafe Divisional Police Office by one of his colleagues, Dr. Li Dong”.

Also An indigene from the area tell Channels Television that some armed men had invaded the staff quarters of the Tsafe General Hospital at about 9:00 pm on Monday, they went straight to Sunail’s apartment and take him to an unknown destination.

Later run, a team of police detective officer was led to the area by the division police officer (DPO), on getting there, Sunail’s room was found open without evidence of breakage or struggle.

The statement further reveal that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Celestine Okoye, has ordered the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (CIID), State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) and Anti-kidnapping Squad to immediately begin investigating the case, as well as to conduct a search and rescue operation of the expatriate.
