It is obvious that the PDP covets His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha, they can do just about anything to have him join them in their Party. They have been spinning all kinds of false stories in a bid to link the most charismatic, most loved, most respected and most dreaded by enemies of Nigeria politician to their Party. Unfortunately for them, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, a founding fathers and one of the major stakeholders of the APC is not and will not leave the APC, not now, not in the nearest future.
PDP social media handlers, obviously acting on the instruction of their Party leadership had sprung up the picture below with a false story of how the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum has teamed up with the PDP and their presidential candidate, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, in a bid to stall President Muhammadu Buhari’s well-earned re-election victory.
The truth is that this picture was taken three years ago at the Imo Governor’s Lodge Asokoro, Abuja soon after the emergence of the duo of Senator Bukola Saraki and Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively. The meeting was primarily aimed at achieving the needed cohesion between the Executive led by His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly.
As a statesman and the undisputed representative of all poor and downtrodden Nigerians, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha will proudly and always align himself with progressive and patriotic ideals that shall be to the benefit of our dear country and its citizenry. The Governor remains committed to the progressive and nationalistic ideals championed by President Muhammadu Buhari and will stand firmly with him towards ensuring that Nigeria grows to the height every Nigerian will be proud of.
His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha is a pan Nigerian patriot driven primarily by the passion to serve Nigeria and to use every opportunity available to him to defend the interest of the ordinary people. He remains a committed and active member of the All Progressives Congress and shall continue to stay loyal to the Constitution and philosophies of the Party.
