Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company. Limittd., abbreviated as IVM, is a Nigerian automobile and bus production company. The company was founded by Innocent Chukwuma. The company is located and runs in Nnewi Anambra State, Nigeria.
70% of the raw materials used for the production of the car are source locally, while the remaining 30% is being imported from Japan, China and Germany.
Among the models of IVM are the five-seaters Fox (1,5 liter engine) and Umu (2 liter engine) as well as the mini-bus Uzo.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturers is the first African vehicles production company that literally belongs to Africa.
They recently unveiled various new models of Made in Nigeria vehicles that can compete with International market.
