Hon. Yakubu Dogara, the speaker of National House of Representative has called on the newly sworn in members of the House not to see themselves to belong to members of the elite club in the society because of their inductions into the house, but they should see themselves as merely Ambassadors of our different constituencies.
He made the statement via his twitter handle yesterday.
According to his tweet, “As we take the oath of office into the chambers as members of the 9th @nassnigeria we shouldn’t deceive ourselves that we are getting inducted into an exclusive club of elites in this, but merely ambassadors of our different constituencies, by extension, the nation #Nigeria”.
