Arrested rapist claimed that he raped his victim at gun point to regain his pride from her.
Alowale Salu, 27-year-old has confess to the crime that he lay ambushed and forcefully used gun to rape a lady in other to regain his respect from her.
Salu said that he has make several attempt to convinced her that he love her, but always turn him down, he also said that they lives together with the victim at Ojumoye, Ikorodu, Lagos.
He said, Ojumoye has disgraced him many times in publics, as such he decided to sleep with her forcefully to regain his respect.
His confession read “On the day the incident happened, I went to one of my friends, Bayo, borrowed a gun and ambushed her on the road at night.
I made her to surrender, forcefully penetrated her and collected her phone before I allowed her to go” Salu said.
At the end of the confession, when he was ask whom did him blame now for his crime, he put the blamed on the lady, saying that if the lady had accepted to be his girlfriend in the first instance, there would be no need to sleep with her by forces.
