EFCC Denied Blocking Imo State Account, As reported by Rocha’s Okorocha

Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has denied the claimed by Imo State Governor, Rocha’s Okorocha that IMO State account has been block by EFCC.

EFCC debunked the claimed via the commission Twitter handle on Friday 24th of May 2019.

According to the tweet, “PressRelease We Did Not Block Imo State Account- EFCC Thread
Attention of the EFCC has been drawn to a statement credited to Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha on The Cable, to effect that the EFCC had for the past three months, blocked the account of the state government”.

Imo State Governor Rocha’s Okorocha yesterday claimed that EFCC has block his State account.

Rocha’s Okorocha said this when vice president Osibanjo visited the state to commission some project build by his administration.

The Governor also faulted All progressive Congress, over what he called evil paid back, as his certificate of returned as senator was withheld from by Independent National election commission (INEC).

INEC withheld his certificate of returned, because of the claimed that Rocha’s was declared winner of the election under duress, as claimed by the returning official of IMO State.
