Bassa kwomu militias has threatened to attack Koton Karfe local government area of Kogi State.
The threats come on 1st of June 2019, few days after Nasarawa state governor created 12 additional chiefdom without including Turuku Bassa Kwomu chiefdom.
According to Jimba K Twin Alhassan who make the threat via Toto Native Forum on Facebook page, said they learned that Bassa Kwomu living in Koton Karfe has been marginalized politically by Egbura, as such they are moving to Koton Karfe to come and put things right, the way they have done in Nasarawa state.
His words read, ” we have done with Toto, let us move to Koton Karfe & put things right. I learned that Bassa from koto Karfe are politically marginalized by Egbura. We are now in postmodern world that we would not allow to be cheated by anybody moment of reality “.
Reacting to the post, Ramba Daudu said, “Thank U For Raising That Point Ane Must Be Treated As Such, Because That Intimidation And Injustice Must Stop.”
