Emir of Kano state Muhammadu Sanusi II has secured the release of some inmates.
N5 million has being used by the Emir of Kano, Muhammdu Sanusi II, to secured the release of some prisoners.
Sinusi, after securing the released of the inmates, he advice them to to shun anything that could take them back to jail, further said, they should used the remaining Ramadan period to seek for forgiveness from Allah’s.
The money was paid to settle the various fines of some prisoners at Kurmawa and Goron Dutse prisons to set them free.
The good gesture of The Emir, come aftee he pay a Ramadan visit to the prisoners, uphe encourage the inmates to see their jail term as the will from God to teach them learn lessons.
He further said to them to reflect on their stay in prison, and use the remaining Ramadan period to seek Allah’s forgiveness and intervention.
Responding to gesture, Aliyu Yahuza, the acting comptroller of Kano state prisons, described the Sunusi visit as a clear signal that he was concerned about his followers.
