Nigerians has reacted over Peter Ayodele Fayose commendation on president Muhammad Buhari for Honouring MKO Abiola.
Fayose one of the strong critics of president Muhammad took to his Twitter handle to commend president Muhammad Buhari, for assigning June 12 as a Democracy day, and renaming Abuja National Stadium after him.
In his tweet he blasted Former president Olusegun Obasanjo, saying that Obasanjo who was a soul beneficiary of MKO Abiola struggle never do anything about Abiola when he had the chance to do it.
He said it is big shame on Obasanjo.
Fayose tweet read, “Reacting to the tweet by Nigerians many seen saying this is the first time they ever see Fayose saying the truths.
Honouring MKO Abiola by @MBuhari is to Obasanjo’s shame.
It remains a sore-point of his political history that because of ego, Obasanjo, who’s the greatest beneficiary of the June 12, 1993 struggle failed to honour his kinsman, MKO Abiola. So, I commend President Buhari.”
