Dr. Yakubu Oseni, Senator representing Kogi central has said that, he is very certain that November 16th Governorship election in Kogi will be a work over, in favour of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Oseni said this today while reacting to indirect primary election adopted by Kogi State APC leader.

Omokoshaban.com report earlier that, APC leadership in Kogi, in a meeting held today in Lokoja come to conclusion, to adopt indirect method pf primary election.

Responding to meeting Oseni said, “Earlier today, I attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting that held in Lokoja, the state capital, where the leadership of the party unanimously adopted indirect method of primary election in August for November 16th governorship election in the state.

“The resolution followed a motion moved by the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Matthew Kolawole and seconded by the former speaker of the Assembly, Hon Abdullahi Bello.

“The New Direction Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello has increased and strengthened the membership base of the party to over 400 thousand since his assumption of office, which paid off in the last election as he was able to deliver victory to President Muhammdu Buhari and the 25 House and of Assembly seats to APC.

This has never happened in the history of Kogi State to have a one house party. I’m optimistic that the November 16 election will be a work over.”
