Report reaching us now, is that 100 people has been confirmed dead and eight others missing after gunmen attacked Yan’Kaba village in Kauran Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to the report, the missing people are suspected to have been abducted by the gunmen.
The head of the village, Alhaji Buhari Ammani, is among those who is missing since the attack.
Confining the report, the Chairman of the Local Government, were the attack take place, Abdullahi Isah, said the gunmen invaded the village early Friday morning and open fire on people befote abducting eight others.
A team of search and rescue has since been cordoned in the village.
Security officials are yet to make official statements regarding the incident, as the time of filing this report.
