Gov. Bello Resolved their crisis with kogi APC Faction leader Hadi Ameto, Faction leader agree to work with Bello

Kogi State All progressive Congress (APC) faction leader Alhaji Hadi Ametuo has resolved their difference with the present led government of Yahaya Bello, and also resolved to work with Bello to achieved his second ambition.

Their resolution come after a series of meeting held in Government house Lokoja.

According to the report made available to our correspondent, the press secretary to Governor, Onogwu Muhammad, said the faction also commend Yahaya Bello for the success recorded by APC in the last General election in Kogi.

Alhaji Hadi Ametuo led group of All Progressives Congress in Kogi State has resolved to work together with the current state’s executives headed by Hon Abdullahi Bello Ahead Of the November 16 gubernatorial election in the state.

At the opening of the meeting which held at the Kogi State Governor’s lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, the Chairmam of the party, Hon Abdullahi Bello said the meeting was called at the instance of the governor’s request to bring the group together for discussion. He said Hadi Ametuo has shown great support and cooperation towards resolving the crisis within the party. He said Hadi Ametuo led group worked for the APC in 2015 and after the demise of Prince Abubakar Audu, some of them decided to work with GYB while others stayed away. He noted that despite the rift, Hadi Ametuo led exco remained in APC.

On his part, Hon Hadi Ametuo congratulated the governor for the success of the party in the last elections where APC recorded 2/3 senatorial seats, 7/9 House of Representatives seats, 25/25 House of Assembly Seats and the presidential election with wide margin.

While presenting their demand, Hon Hadi commended the governor for his reconciliation approach and said they were appreciative of the move.

He thanked the governor that after all they did, the governor as the executive governor of the state did not stop anybody from entering the state or intimidate any member of the group.”
