Hypocrisy in Nigeria; No one protest when Christian are murdered in thousands, but protest for alleged rape by pastor

“long now and we have seen series of cases where Christians are massacred every time in the Middle Belt and across Northern states, we have seen cases where hundred and thousands of Christians lose their lives to Fulani Herdsmen.”

Enahoro Abel Enahoro wrote “I didn’t want to talk about this COZA Pastor issue publicly before, maybe because I do not know whether it is true or not and I can not say it is true neither can I say it’s a lie, but surely, part of my discipline emphasises “Fact and Evidence” and as such I can’t easily make conclusion on every matter I see when Substantial evidence may not have been readily released even when it may or may not be available.

But, the kind and level of Hypocrisy in Nigeria and among Nigerians is what worries me a lot. We have been in this country together for long now and we have seen series of cases where Christians are massacred every time in the Middle Belt and across Northern states, we have seen cases where hundred and thousands of Christians lose their lives to Fulani Herdsmen and the likes, and in must cases, it is mass murder and we were all here in Nigeria when the Redeemed Woman was murdered in cold blood, while Preaching the Gospel in the North. In all of these, no body protested with the name of Christianity and no body came to the Street to wear white, black or red to demonstrate and display their anger toward such acts. Is it not simply a high level of Hypocrisy and Stupidity for same Nigerians in the name of Christianity to in less than 48 hours, plan for Protest and execute it just because one pastor was “Alleged”, not “Caught”, but alleged of Rape? To them, an alleged Rape is worse than a dead thousands Indeed, as someone said, they want to be Noticed, Nonsense!

Let God open our our Secrets, let God play our TV to the world, let God show to all those things you do in the hidden place and let see how many marriages will remain, how many reputations will still be standing and how many of those protesters will be left unembarrassed, may God help us all.”
