University of Benin Pedestrian bridge constructed by Governor Godwin Obaseki, has been open for use.
Disclosing the development to our correspondence, Pius Eguamwense said that the pedestrian was open for use last week Friday.
Pius who also praise the Governor for coming to aid of the students has this to say;
“At the famous University of Benin main gate, a pedestrian bridge has been constructed by the Edo State government to afford the students and other members of the university community easy access to cross the ever busy Benin-Shagamu express road.
Governor Godwin Obaseki heard the cries of the students of the university after a tragic accident occurred on the road.
The pedestrian bridge has now been opened for use.
Students and residents around UNIBEN, one of Nigeria’s premier federal universities are full of gratitude and in deep appreciation of this gesture from the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.”
