Hmmm! Busola is (nee Amupitan) the younger Sister to my very good friend Funmi. We lived on same Adelodun Road in the G.R.A part of ilorin growing up. I still remembered the rape incedent which is quite typical of Biodun. Many of such incident was what actually made Biodun relocate from ilorin to Abuja. Where Biodun grew up in Sabo -Oke was just a stone throw to where we lived in ilorin. To you Biodun might be a man of God but, to me and many other people that we grew up together in ilorin he is not a true man of God. I mean, no decent girl could even date him in ilorin. That was why he ended up marrying Modele who was a prostitute at Flamingo Hotels in Stadium Road, off Taiwo road in ilorin. I grew up with these people. So, I can very well say I know their past more than you do. Please, do not judge what you don’t really know.
I don’t know if she reported the case to the police then. But, I remembered her elder brother angrily went to Biodun’s house one evening that he was gonna stab him for raping his kid sister (busola). But, two of his pastors who were present in his house at that moment intervened and pleaded with busola’s brother, drove him to their house to beg the Amupitan’s family….I still remember this happened back then. And I know few people that lived on Adelodun road and it’s environs knew if not all. Back then rape or been raped is something you cover cos of stigmatization. She couldn’t have bn saying to everyone that she was raped naaa. I still had a chat with she and her Sis last night over this matter and she said it was time to speak out
