LAMPARD: Chelsea ready for life after Hazard

Lampard has said that Eden Hazard left to join Real Madrid with no hard feelings from the club and insists they will manage without him.

He said “The Eden Hazard move seemed important to Eden personally, and I think the club respected that. He left on a very good note.

“As a Chelsea fan I felt like he gave this club such great times, and we are thankful he was here. It’s not one to dwell on. He’s gone.

“We wish him well in his career – he’s a great person as well as a great player. What’s important is what we do, and how we take the club forward.

“You lose one great player, but how do you get around that? You work on the team and look at what we have.

“We have a very strong squad and great young players that have the talent to be huge players for this club. Part of my job will be to get that out of them.”
