My Return Is Divine I don’t Need Bloodshed -Yahaya Bello

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has stated that his reelection is divine mandate which cannot be stop by anybody.

Governor Yahaya Bello disclosed this on Saturday while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, the state capital.

The APC governor who recently obtained the party nomination form to recontest during November 16, 2019 governorship said God made him Governor even when it seemed impossible and there wasn’t any need for gunshots.

His words: ”When God made me Governor even when it seemed impossible there wasn’t any need for gunshots, why would I now need bloodshed to return to power when my fate is in the hand of the one who divinely chose me.

” I would protect the sanctity of the ballot box in Kogi same way my father PMB did at the National elections and anyone or persons who attempts to promote violence or ballot snatching at the November election in Kogi would be doing so at the risk of his life.

”It is only the will of God that would prevail in Kogi therefore let no man test the resolve of this administration in her promise to protect lives and properties.”

Governor Yahaya Bello however warned youths not to allow politicians to use them to cause mayhem in this electioneering process, noting that anybody causing crisis will face wrath of the law irrespective of their political affiliation.

He also charged security agencies to maintain law and order before, during and after the forthcoming election.
