Just In: Kogi LG Chief Administrator Barr. Tanko Musa Hosts Kogi BUK Indigenous Students At His Residence

The National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) and delegation of members were at the residence of the Chief administrator of Kogi LGC, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku, on courtesy visit.

The leader of the delegation and who double as President of NAKOSS, Bayero University, Kano State Campus, Comr. Abdulgafar Osite Usman, in his brief speech which followed immediately after introduction of members, expressed gratitude toward Hon. Muhammed Musa Tanko for accorded them high esteem of hospitality in his residence. Stating that they were in his residence to formally seek for his executive support as an indigenous students studying outside the State, which according to him said: “to promote and protect our unity, we the undersigned members of this large forum have decided to host a weekly programme featuring social education and health matter”. He further stated that the program will be tagged NAKOSS BUK @ 28 slated for September 2019.

While welcoming the Students delegation the Chief administrator and Executive Chairman Kogi Local Government Area, Honourable (Barr.) Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku, said the occasion which occurred in his residence was likewise gone like old days while he was a student like to by certain mover and shaker of the students body, individuals from various institutions corps, among others took similar path to prosperity.

The people’s Chairman further said today event was a festival of triumph welcoming his people. He encourage everyone of the students to consider themselves to be big family by rendering essential help to each others that would help push their study forward without stressed.

The erudite lawyer cum politician spoke extensively for the benefits of his August visitors in the student’s network, urging them to take their study serious and in doing so they must shun inimical vices that is capable of destroying their future, he also pray to God to guide, protect and lead them to the prosperity.

He described the Students as future leaders assuring them that his door is always wide open for those with genuine tendencies. The Chairman said.
