CJN Tanko, a man at the apex of the judiciary and justice system in Nigeria, does not have knowledge of the meaning of ‘technicalities’ in judicial process. An elementary issue in law and jurisprudence.
The balancing of the interpretation of the letters of the law and the spirit of the law in order to enthrone justice; quest to decide cases on the merit.
Whence the CJN is unable to appreciate the meaning of technicality in judicial process, then what kind of justice can we ever expect from Supreme Court under his watch? Yet, the Senate confirmed him!!!
Expect that the presidential election petition will be decided on Tanko’s “driving aeroplane” technicality in favour of his appointor.
