Kogi Elections: Once I was blind, now I can see Dino Melaye berates Gov. Yahaya Bello

“I want to tell you that, once I was blind but now I can see.
I supported Yahaya Bello on two grounds viz-a-viz; that is a young man and I expected him not to behave in the manner he is currently exhibiting.
Secondly, he graduated from my alma mater, Ahmadu Bello University where I expected that anyone who passed through that great university, the university ought to have passed through him.
“Unfortunately, he passed through the university but the university did not pass through him.
So, the assumption that I have on him as a young man who is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, is that he is going to be compassionate with the people but……”
“You don’t know a man until you assess him. Unfortunately, Yahaya Bello is a coronated governor who never went round to campaign, neither has he won election or contested election before.
“This is the first time he’s trying to contest an election.
So, we have no grounds to assess him or test his competence or veracity. We don’t know him from anywhere as there was no criteria to use to access him.
“This is the first time we’ll have opportunity to assess him but unfortunately his performance so far is a beautiful nonsense.”
