Osuku In The Agog As Administrator Visits His Home Town To Celebrate Sallah With His People

The Chairman of Kogi Kotonkarfe LGA, Hon. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku, on Sunday called on Muslims including politicians to use the festive period to pray for peace, progress, unity and development of Kogi State and progress of the country at large.
Hon. Muhammed Musa Tanko gave the advise after the 2 special Raka’at prayers in his country home Osuku, a community in KotonKarfe south east ward, Kogi LGA.
The Chairman who praised the forthright attitude of some Nigeria and admonished Muslims to promote peace and mutual understanding among all Nigerians.
He noted that fraudulent practises or hooliganism in the name politics have no benefits in the long run.
“Politicians must learn to live a simple lifestyle and also emulate those who governed with the fear of God”.
The council boss also used the festive period to paid royal visit to the Paramount ruler of Osuku, HRH. Alhaji Hussain Salihu, the Otaru of Osuku, and all the most recognized title holders in the community was also visited from one house to another in companied of mammoth crowds of youths, elders and women who were singing, dancing in a well organised celebration to mark the festival in colourful.
While at his family residence, he personally supervised slaughtering of rams and other very important activities in connection with today festival.
The Chairman also received group of persons from different walks of life who were on courtesy called on him especially political stakeholders from the 12 electoral wards in Kogi LGA.
He earlier granted an interview to NTA Lokoja and Radio Kogi who were also on ground to covers the Chairman’s activities and While answering questions from the reporters he thanked God for sustainable life to witnessed another festive period like today. He also thanked Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, on behalf of Igu Kotonkarfe Kingdom, for providing them with enabling sustainable environment to leave peaceful with one another without rancour all these years and among other things.
