Inline with the security best practices across the globe in order to sustain absolute security in Toto LGC and it environs, the Executive Chairman Toto LGC HON PRINCE NUHU ADAMU DAUDA helds an expanded security meeting with the Heads of various security agents in Toto LGC, Royal Father’s, Stakeholders, Development Area Overseers and LGC Management staff yesterday (23/08/2019) at the Council Chamber.
The Hon Chairman in his welcome addressed calls on the security Head’s to triple their efforts in curtailing the security challenges harboring the peace loving people’s of Toto LGC and he reinterate Government readiness to support security agents at all costs. In the same vein, he seeks the cooperation, contributions and advice of the Royal Father’s and the stakeholders in the areas where they sees is necessary to tackle the insecurities, kidnapping and all forms of criminalities tormenting Toto LGC so as to find lasting solutions to this meness. He added that, the needs for them to map out security blueprints and work in synergies in Toto LGC can not be over emphasised hence that is the only best way to find lasting peace, unity, Progress and Development in ours dear communities in Toto LGC.
The Royal Father’s were under the stewardship of the Chairman Traditional Council of Chief Toto LGC, HRH ALH USMAN ABDULLAHI the Ohimegye of Opanda, alongside, HRH Alh Muhammad Umar Azaki (Onah) Ohinoyi of Ogye, HRH Alh Aliyu Gomo Babye of Gadabuke Chiefdom, HRH Ishaku Dailo Dadayako (JP) of Nakuse and some village Head’s. The Security Chief’s include; Commandant of 177 Division, Operation Whirlstroke, Toto LGC DPO, Vigilante Group. The Stakeholders invitees include; Barr. MD Zubairu, Alh Yusuf K. Muhammad (Sarkin Yakin APC Toto), Barr. Shuaibu Magaji (Matawale Toto), Hon. Zakari O. Sani and many few to be mentioned also graced the event.
It’s was convinced that some of the major to be taken includes;
- The ongoing construction of Six modern security outfit across the LGC by the present administration of Hon Prince Nuhu A. Dauda.
- Readiness of Royal Father’s and the village Head’s to strengthen community watch and report suspicious movement to the security agents.
- Preaching of peace and unity by our elites across communities.
- Control of Political, Religious and Ethnical utterances.
- Collaborate with Vigilante, village Head and other security agents at various levels to bring offenders to book.
Peace, unity and tranquility remains the watchword.
