JUBILATION AS TOBY COMMISSIONED PROJECT’S ACROSS OJI RIVER L.G.A

The Deputy Minority leader , House of representative, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, led a delegation from the #Ikukuoma political family, to commission a number of projects in Oji River local government Area, yesterday 27th August 2019

These projects had been some of the promises he made during the campaigns, towards the general elections.

The commissioned projects are

(1) A solar powered borehole at Agbala- Enyi Community,

(2) Automatic Solar street lights with 10 Megawatt power plant, built at the Oji River Divisional Headquarters, to service Oji River urban areas.

(3) A New classroom block at Technical School Ihe Achi , Oji River LGA.

(4) Inspection of an ongoing road project at Isikwe Achi community, which would be commissioned at the appropriate time pending completion.

The event attracted politicians of calibre, both those accompanying and some others who were indigenes of the communities visited.

Some of these noble men are , Toby’s campaign DG, Hon Godwin Udeuhele , the local government Chairman of Oji River, Hon Harrison Okeke, State secretary of PDP, Hon Cletus Akalusi , Hon members representing Oji River and Awgu south at the state House of Assembly, Hon Jeff Mba and Hon Johnson Chukwuobasi respectively.

Others are the Vice Chairman, Oji River local government area, Engr Chukwudi Ezinwa, Hon Chidi Ekwe, Hon Manfred Nzekwe, Hon Gab Onuzulike, Barr Eze O. Eze, Hon Johnny Obidimma, Hon Egwuonwu Obasi Barr. P.C Chukwu, and other important men and women we may not be able to include their names for lack of space and time.

Fielding questions from journalists, Toby said, that whatever he does for the people has always been a matte of need. He added that our constituents are deserving of what they are getting, because the commissioned projects had been a way to compliment the enormous support he got, and is still getting from the people.

He harped on the importance of light to the wellbeing of the people, hence the idea to provide one that would be independent from the power distribution companies (disco).

He thanked the police on whose office premises the solar power station was installed.

He promised to return as soon as the pending projects were completed and ready for commissioning.

It may interest you to note that, as a leader whose word is his bond, Iyierioba doesn’t back out of agreements just because elections are over. He maintains steady touch with his constituents and this is reason his popularity is unrivalled.
