Ohere Describes his New Elevation as an Impetus to Better Served the people at the Grassroots

The Commissioner Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. (Dr.) Sadiku Abubakar Ohere has described his new elevation from Special Adviser in charge of Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs by Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello to a Commissioner of the same Ministry as charge to better served the people at the grassroots.

Engr. Ohere who stated this shortly after his confirmation at the State House of Assembly, while responding to questions from Journalist in Lokoja, yesterday, the 19th of September, 2019.

He stated that the people at the grassroots are key stakeholders and they deserved good governance noting with this new portfolio he would reach out even more to the grassroots people whom he described as his immediate constituents.

The grassroots leader maintained further that “truly when you make yourself fully connected and committed to the service of the people, you would no doubt receive their support in all sense of the word stressing that I am most grateful for the support I get from our people.

“I am most delighted with the kinds of support and prayers I receive from the people of my immediate constituency-the the grassroots people. I owe them lot more and with this upgrade, I shall do more for them”, he added.

He thanked His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for the opportunity to serves as an SA which exposed his potentials and subsequent elevation assuring that he would be better charged to do more for his people passionately in order to paved more ways to our victory come November, 16.

He also thanked the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kolawole and all members of the legislative council for the show of love and confirmation of his nominee as a Commissioner promising to consolidate the on his official commitment to the people.
