Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revived N70 Million Adiyan Water Project that was abandoned by his predecessor.
Adiyan Water project has 330,000 metric ton capacity to supply water to 5 Millions.
Disclosing the development, Lagos state Governor said,
“We have revived the abandoned 70 million gallon Adiyan Water Project.
Ensuring the availability and management of drinkable water will contribute significantly in the reduction of poverty and diseases amongst us.
With a daily supply capacity of 330,000 cubic metric tons, the facility will serve about 5 million Lagosians.
The revival of the project is important to our wellbeing.
I also visited the Lagos State Water Corporation facility at Iju-Akute and the distribution facilities at Iju.” He said this when he visited the water project site yesterday.
