People’s Democratic Party Chairman for Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, Sani Umoru Doctor Hook Joins APC.
He said his reason for dumping the PDP among others was lack of transparency that characterised the party primary election in September and the inability of the party to bring its members together for common goal.
Dr Hook who hail from Anyigba in Dekina stated that his former party lack political structure to win any election noting that genuine members of the party, its founding fathers in Dekina have all defected to the ruling APC.
He said the incumbent governor of Kogi State whom he described as a detribalised and digital leader has endeared himself to the hearts of Kogi People because of his nondiscriminating and open door policy of governance. Dr Hook said Governor is enjoying the support of the people today because he doesn’t think of himself or family but the interest of the state and her citizens irrespective of tribes and religion.
Receiving the former PDP chairman, the Governor of Kogi State , Yahaya Bello who was accompanied by his deputy, Edward Onoja noted that Dr Hook’s coming to join the APC was a clear testament that the APC in the state was doing well as a party and assured him of equal opportunity.
