Shaba Ibrahim, Egbura Nation cannot move forward without University or Polytechnic, we are left behind

To Hon Shaba Ibrahim, the Honorable members representing Kogi Lokoja-Kotonkarfe, your step to better the life of youth in your constituency by organising skill acquisition training is a welcome development.

Thank you for the right step, but we want to draw your attention to the same IT acquisition training was few years ago initiated by Late Buba Jibril when he was still occupying the same position you are occupying, but nothing good come out of it.

Speaking with experience sir, IT is a very broad area, which required many years of training if really the person want to make something useful out of it.

What we try to point out is that one cannot use few weeks to gain knowledge on IT that can be used to better his/her life.

As a one time chairman of Kogi Kotonkarfe LGA, and the present House of Representative members representing us at the House, we are pleading on behalf Egbura Nation, for you to sponsored a bill to established University, polytechnic or college in our society (Egbura Nations).

Egbura Nation are left behind sir, we travel far, to acquired education, those who could not afford the accommodation get dropout at the end of the day, but if we have the institutions in our land, the cost of education will be reduce drastically, because in the aspects of Accommodation will not be an issue anymore.

Also their is always a consideration on indigenous students of which they pay less schools fees than Non indigene, so if we have the institutions in our land, that will encouraged our people to go to schools and becomes useful to the society.
