Edo APC crisis: I didn’t go to the rally because I wanted to maintain peace – Oshiomohle

The national Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Adam Aliyu Oshiomohle has reacted to cancellation of APC mega rally scheduled to hold in Benin city yesterday by IGP Adamu.

Oshiomohle who speak the pressmen’s shortly after he arrived Benin city yesterday, said

“I didn’t goto the rally because I wanted to maintain peace, as National chairman I wanted to be as good example to younger ones, the IG already gave order and I needed to obey it so that they don’t quote me tomorrow that i instigated violence, but how can the IG who asked me in the morning that I am free to go ahead and do my rally, and then without getting back to me first, he went to another person and told them to make sure that the rally doesn’t hold, I will find out why he did that to me when I get to Abuja.”
