The management of Sun Newspaper has written to Attorney general of the Federation, Malami demanding him to stop the Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) from sealing Sun Newspaper limited.
Recall that properties of Orji Kalu who was convicted and sentence to twelve years Imprisonment was mark by the EFCC to be sealed and forfeited to the federal government of Nigeria, Sun Newspaper limited is among the properties to be forfeited to the Federal government.
Reacting to the incident, the management of the Sun Newspaper, had earlier this morning written to Malami to stop the commission from sealing the office.
In a part of the written, the management said “So, we do not see why the Judgment in that case should lead to attempt to seal The Sun Publishing Limited premises.”
