Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has appreciated opposition political parties in the state who took to the courts to seek interpretation of law regarding his victory at the March 9 Governorship election.
The Governor stated this in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Engineer Sule while thanking God for bringing to an end the trial at the Supreme Court, however said there is no winner, no loser, stressing that those who took to the courts to challenge his election, “were moved by patriotism and a sincere concern for justice.”
“We are all one people, bound by the common desire to serve our people and develop Nasarawa State.
“I therefore thank the opposition for seeking a clear interpretation of the law as regards my election victory and by this action, expand the very frontiers of our democracy,” Engineer Sule said.
