The Kogi State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Chief Edward Onoja in an empathetic message, stood with his boss, the Governor of the state whom he describes as his “siamese twins” on the passing of his Elder Sister, Hajia Rabiat Bello who has gone to rest with her maker. According to his personal message to his boss, he emphasises how Hajia’s death is a shared loss between him and his boss. In his words: “My dearest boss and beloved Siamese Twin,
My heart is grieved at the sad news of our dear sister’s untimely death. This is both unexpected and heart-rending. I think of you, of Mama, Her Excellencies, the wives of the Governor, our sister’s children and indeed every member of the family, and I cannot imagine how you must feel right now. It is indeed a hard blow”.
He continues: “I have no words other than to ask you to dig into the depths of your great faith to find the comfort that will work at this trying time.
My prayer is that the Almighty God Himself will comfort you and all of us affected by this sad event in the special ways that only he can”.
