The Government of Kano State, under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Ganjude has place banned on women and men from boarding the same tricycle in the State
Omokoshaban learned that the banned will be effective from January 2020.
As from January 2020, it will become a serious crime if any men and women caught boarding the same tricycle in Kano State.
Premium Times, report that governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, revealed this on Wednesday at the closing ceremony of 77th annual Islamic Vacation Course organised by Zone A of Muslim Society of Nigeria held at Bayero University, Kano.
The governor representative who speak on behalf of the Governor, the Commander-General of Hisbah Board, Harun Ibn-Sina, said the state government take the decisions in other to uphold Islamic values.
