Bassa Kwomu ethnic extraction has accused kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello of returning Egbura people to Bassa Local Government area of kogi State with due process.
Recalled that, tribal conflict which reportedly happen in Bassa LGA of Kogi between Egbura People and Bassa people claiming many lives, properties worth millionaire destroy, and many people display from their home.
Bassa Kwomu yesterday published content to Bassa 4 Bassa Facebook page accuse governor Yahaya Bello of not following due process of returning Egbura people to their homes land.
According to the post, with many grammatical and topographical error, said Egbura people are the one responsible in terrorising the local Governments.
The post read “general notice let the world here this again, the governor of kogi state yesterday evinning has announced the return of the egbura people who has being terrorizine the people of bassa L G A since 2018 till date,governor yahya bello aduza by pass or ignore the police authority and the curte laws to make use of his own power by making it clere in his statement yesterday to the people of the area that he will use the nigeria army and his tuges through money to bring his people back to bassa L G A .without the wite peper ,or any form of settlement between the two tribe ,he told the aguma of bassa L G MR WILLIAM KEKE yesterday that either he like it or not he shuld tel his people that egbura people are coming back tumorow,that he will deal with any youth who stand on there way.bassa youth is calling on the federal government perticulerly president MUHAMADU BUHARY to act fast on this matter before inorecent blood will flow again .GYB is hitting the drum of war again in bassa land ,OUR GOD IS NOT SLEEPING .”
Meanwhile, middle of Last year, Bassa Kwomu militia ambushed the Paramount ruler of Egbura People, HRM of Mozum kingdom, king Khalid Bukar, which they almost killed the king.
According to the HRM Khalid Bukar who speak with Omokoshaban reporter via phone called, told our reporter that it was the intervention of soldiers who is escorting him to his kingdom that day that save him, if not they will have killed him.
