Kogi State police command has disclosed that woman who assaulted her house help
in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, has been arrested
The woman, identified as Mrs Ketim Idenyi was arrested following viral report of her assault on a young girl believed to be her house help, which led to dip cut on her hand.
Police disclosed this on Saturday in a statement, stating that investigation has commenced.
Idenyi is a staff of Chief Magistrate Court Ajaokuta was reported to have assaulted a 12 year-old Bilkisu Ibrahim with pestle, cable wire and hot water.
Police Statement read “Following a report received on 10/1/2019 at about 0800hrs that one Barikisu Ibrahim aged 12 years has been maltreated by her aunt, one Mrs. Ketim Idenyi. a staff of Chief Magistrate Court AJAOKUTA with mortal pestle, cable wire and also poured hot water on her.
“The operatives attached to AJAOKUTA Division swung into action and arrested Mrs. Ketin Idenyi.
“She confessed to the crime while investigation continues,”.
