Member Representing Uyo state constituency and chairman House Committee on NDDC, in the AKHA, Rt.Hon.Anietie Eka on the floor of the house rose to support a motion, titled, ” Curtailing the Resurgent of Lassa Fever in the state: A proactive call for action and vigilance sponsored by Bar. Aniefiok Denis, Member Representing Etinan State Constituency.
On supporting the motion, he applauded the ministry of health for prompt response in curtailing this contentious disease called ( Lassa Fever).
Also in his supporting base,acknowledged that Nigeria was the only country to control this deadly disease from spreading widely.
In a bid to control this disease for future occurrences, he opined wider publicity to Sensitise and educate the citizenry by the appropriate quarters on good conducts and healthy living.
