Open Letter of Appreciation by Commissioner of Solid Mineral & Natural Resource, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu

I write this with immense gratitude in my heart to Allah for bringing me to this point in my career: this unprecedented opportunity to serve my people, the good people of Kogi State in the Capacity of Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources can only be from God who has directed my steps this far, and to God goes all my praises.

Second only to God, is my boss and mentor, His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello. Words can never be enough to express my appreciation to Your Excellency Sir, for believing in me, and granting me this call to service. I am humbled, and I thank you greatly Sir, I promise to deliver on my mandate judiciously at all times.

I also want to thank His Excellency, Deputy Governor Edward David Onoja for his immense support. I thank you for everything Sir.

This appointment would also not have been possible without the support of the people of Kogi Local Government Area, my royal father,His Royal majesty; the Ohimege of Igu Koton Karfe Alh Abdulrazak Gambo Isa Koto , Agabaiiiiiiiidu! Agabaiiiiiidu!! Agabaiiiiiiiidu !!!.

To the grassroots, the Unstoppable groups, and all other APC virile associations, your support and championship has remained invaluable to me and I thank each and everyone of you.

To the APC leaders and stakeholders, party men and women, opinion moulders and the likes, I appreciate your love and confidence.

Not forgetting also the support of my would-be colleagues who extended a hand of friendship to me, and who have all spoken in favor of me in various ways and places, I appreciate you all, and cannot wait to work with each and every one of you in this new term.

Lastly I wish to appreciate my family, close friends and well wishers. Your enduring patience and constant support throughout these past months have been indefatigable and my gratitude goes to you all always, I love you all, and appreciate you all!

I thank everyone for their trust and faith in me, and promise I will neither fail nor disappoint you!
