Some kidnappers opened fire on a passenger bus at kwali, a Toyota Previa, force the bus to stop and abducted some passengers.
The incident reportedly happen yesterday 2nd of February 2020 at about 7:30pm at Lokoja Abuja highway.
The bus who load passengers from Lokoja reportedly heading to Abuja before they were attacked at Kwali.
However, their were not Lucky’s as an eyewitness from the community put a emergency called to FCT police command, which they reportedly responded to the called.
FCT police reportedly engaged the kidnapers, they were able to rescues some passengers, and arrest four of the suspected kidnapers.
While some of the passengers were taken away by the kidnapers.
The FCT Police spokesman, DSP Anjuguri Manzah who confirmed the incident said, “Operatives of the FCT Police Command, while responding to the distress call on Sunday, in Piri Kwali expressway, arrested four (4) suspected kidnappers.
“While, some of the passengers were rescued by the joint effort of the police and some youths of the nearby community, others are still with the kidnappers.
“The four suspects arrested by the police operatives are: Shuaibu Sule 27 years, Mohammadu Usman 25 years, Umar Usman 19 years and Usman Ibrahim 20 years all of Kamadi village kwali.
“Meanwhile, the Command is making concerted effort to rescue the victims and arrest the suspects,”.
