In an interview in the Kanuri language with the local television station based in Maiduguri, Borno Nigeria he confirmed that he is of mixed blood ? He said one of his parents is Kanuri and the other is Shuwa Arab.Ibrahim Saleh spoke very fluently in this interview in Kanuri language. In fact before this interview many people never believed that he can speak in Kanuri so fluently as such.
Sheikh Ibrahim Saleh was born in Borno state Nigeria.
He speaks excellent and eloquent Arabic,Kanuri and English as well as the Hausa language.
He is a close friend to Sheikh Abubakar Elmiskin and Sheikh Abdul Fathi both of blessed memories. He’s one of the greatest Sheik’s of Dariqatu Tijjaniya Wal Faidatul Ibrahimiya In this world.
