A lady allegedly slapped his boyfriend who want to surprise her by proposing to her in her lecture hall while other courses mate are in the hall.
Teddy Ellloh who share the story lament by saying that what is happening in Nigeria now is cultural imperialism.
He said the norm of proposing to a lady in public has no trace root in African culture.
Teddy refuse to tell us which campus, and the name of the person involved, despite persuasion. He said he Dont want to embarrass anyone.
But he said “This scenario happened some weeks back when a guy propose to a lady in a lecture hall, the lady not only refuse the proposal but slapped the guy in midst of her course mate. What is happening now in Nigeria is ‘self cultural imperialism’ because this norm has no trace in any Nigeria culture”
