Former Iranian minister died of Coronavirus

Hussein Sheikholeslam, a former Iranian deputy foreign minister has died after contracting deadly Coronavirus.

Hussein a 67 year old man died today 6th of March 2020, in a hospital in Iran’s capital city Tehran.

Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, on his tribute said that Hussein is a press release as a friend and always fair-minded diplomat.

Hussein is an Iranian deputy foreign minister throughout the 1980s and then had roles as Iran’s ambassador to Syria, a member of parliament and was most recently a foreign policy advisor to the Speaker of Parliament, Ali Larijani.

Over 3,500 has contracted Coronavirus in Iran, since the outbreak in China early this year, and 107 people has died of the virus.
