Sanusi daughter has reacted to the sympathizers who is sending in their sympathy message over the dethronement of her father as the emir of Kano State, Muhammad Lamido Sanusi II.
The young ladies charge those sending condolences message to stop it, stating that the message is meant for people who lost their love once.
She said “Can you people please stop sending me ‘Innallillahi wa Inna ilayhir raji’un’ and ‘my condolences’? We did not die,”
“Explain to me how I’ve been the one consoling my friends. I’m like ‘I’m sorry’. Allah ne yaso.
Insha Allah hakan yaafi alheri. Just expect an invoice because I’m charging for these therapy sessions.”
‘Innallillahi wa Inna ilayhir raji’un’ is a Quranic injunction typically used when consoling a deceased person’s family, although it is also used as a form of expression indicating surrender to the will of God.
It roughly translates “from God we came, from God we shall return.”
She further said that her father, Sanusi always ready to let go of the throne, if that will stop him from his integrity
She said “The man that raised me has never been afraid of letting go of power for the sake of integrity.”
