Governor Yahaya Bello Attends Wedding Ceremony of IGPs Son

Kogi State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Chief Onoja Edward represents his boss Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State at the wedding of the Son of the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu in Abuja over the weekend.

The wedding pulled together a large gathering of political bigwigs across the major political parties in Nigeria, including the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Africa’s richest man and business mogul, Aliko Dangote. The All Progressives Congress had its fair representation by the Governors of Edo, Katsina, Kano and Nassarawa, the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen, several Party stakeholders and well-wishers. Also in attendance was Prof. Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross Rivers State, former governor Rochas Okorocha.

All past IGPs were also in attendance, alongside a majority of the Commissioners of Police around the country.

The couple, Hassan Adamu and Sumayya Goje, were advised to inculcate the habit of patience, truth and piousness in order to champion a successful marriage.

They were also charged by various speakers to use the marriages of their parents as a guideline in cultivating a successful coexistence.
