Breaking: COVID-19: Kwara State Government to shut schools Monday 23rd of March 2020

Kwara State government has announced it plan to shut schools next Monday over the spread of Coronavirus.

The Governor, Abdullraham who made the announcement through his chief Press secretary said that closing schools on the 23rd of March 2020 is a part measure to curtail the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

He said “I can confirm that Kwara State will be shutting down schools from Monday March 23rd. It is part of the efforts to contain the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. We urge our people to maintain the highest level of hygiene and to remain calm and adhere to all safety measures earlier announced by the Kwara State Ministry of Health and other national bodies.”

He further announced that full retail on the said announcement will be released later.

He said “Further details will be released later.”
